@Mondher Saada :

I mean i can′t save

I found 9 of your photos in the system; saving a description is not necessary. A poor connection error occurred for participants who tried to save a description with an empty value. Once your work appears in your personal account, it is automatically submitted to the judges.

@Joro Penchev :

it was showing one hour left but then on upload the form says the time has finished

Waiting until the very last time isn′t a good idea. You can submit your work in the next few hours, and I′ll manually upload it to the jury system. my email -- origamiru(at)gmail.com. (Don′t forget to indicate your login and country.)

@Niki Lubomirov :

Why the submission window closed like 7-8 hours before the timer ended?

@XelaPaperMagic :

How can I submit my new fotos?

I want to express my … whatever … to the judges (and organizers of course) of IOIO. Judging thousands of photos in a limited time is impressive. Whoever the judges are.

Thank you!!!

I sent my submissions to Andrey Ermakov at the email he specified earlier today. I have yet to receive a reply. And when I tried to check my profile timer to see if the models were there, it showed this. How can I confirm that my submission has been received?

Dear friends,

We are thrilled and immensely grateful for the overwhelming global response. The volume of submitted works has been incredible, showcasing a remarkable level of creativity and skill from every corner of the world.

First and foremost, we extend our sincere congratulations to every single participant who successfully navigated the challenges and submitted their work. Your dedication and passion for the art of origami are truly inspiring.

This update serves to inform you of the following important points:

Our team has successfully processed all valid submissions. Furthermore, we have reviewed and uploaded additional photographs from participants who experienced temporary server issues, ensuring that every entry has been accounted for.

Judging Phase Begins: Tomorrow, our judges will officially begin the meticulous process of evaluating all folds. The judging panel for the qualifying round will consist:

  • Jesus Artigas (origami artist from Spain and IOIO-2021 Champion)
  • Pei Haozheng (origami artist from China and IOIO-2017 Champion)
  • Dmitry Lysiuk (origami artist from Belarus and IOIO-2015 and IOIO-2011 Champion)
  • Andrey Ermakov (origami artist from Russia and IOIO founder)

What to Expect Next: The judging process is expected to take approximately 5-6 days. Please be patient as our judges give each submission the careful photo it deserves.

The list of participants advancing to the second round will be announced upon the conclusion of the judging.

All official results and further instructions will be published on the IOIO forum and within your personal dashboard.

Thank you once again for your incredible participation and for sharing your amazing art with us.

We wish you the best of luck in the judging!

Sincerely,

IOIO Team

@ORIGAMI.expert :

Once the registration period has ended, we will be unable to accommodate any further requests, and no additional delays to the start date will be granted

Hello, I just found out about this competition today, and would like to submit on behalf of my 12 year old son and was not aware of the closing date.

Appreciate your kind consideration if I can still submit / register?

Thanks up front and hope to hear good news from you. :)

This is my first Olympiad and I don′t know what the judging criteria is. Whether to fold the models exactly as described or to modify them. What is the criteria for advancing to the next round?

If I don′t make it this time then maybe next year I′ll understand what to do better!

Many thanks.
